Reader Question -- Did I Make the Lamps and Pillows

Yes indeedy.

For the lamps -- they had dark brown bases but lovely shapes, so I spray painted them in my living room. Then I just got some beading from Wal-Mart and glued it on the bottom with a glue gun. I did that on Sunday while Ex packed.

Pillows -- I had 2 pillows I had bought at the Goodwill. One was dark purple, another was salmon pink. I sewed them into old pillowcases I had (about 5 minutes each), then made simple covers for them. Each one took a yard of fabric.  The striped one was going to have ruffles, but that was too complicated for me. :o)
