Pretty seriously. So seriously in fact, that the psycho's dad felt compelled to take the baby to the hospital which then!!!!!!!! THEN!!!!!! AMBULANCED!!!! The child over to Children's hospital!
Jesus Christ!!!!!!
The hospital filed a police report and the humane society came out and put the cat in a locked cage and the cat WILL be destroyed in 10 days.
If this doesn't get BF custody of his daughter, then I don't know what will.
Her maternal grandfather said that the child was 'covered in blood', as was her blanket, and so that's why he drove her to the ER at Immanuel…BF has been denied his visit this week so that these people can take care of Gnat.
It just makes me want to cry and also lash out at that WITCH!!!!! That child was upstairs, alone, on the floor, which is where she sleeps! And the cat just laid into her. And apparently, the cat did it in two sessions -- did it once and then went away and came back later for some more.
I think we've all been scratched by a cat before…you know how much it hurts when a cat lays into you. Some of the gouges on that child's back were really deep. Now think about how much that would hurt you, as an adult. Think about the cat repeatedly, repeatedly clawing you, deeply, on your back and face and eyelid. That's what happened to this 13-month-old child, who can't even walk yet. Think about how much she was crying, how hard and how loudly, and no one heard her.
BF is playing it cool. He saw his daughter today. He's not calling the police to enforce his visit…rather he is taking the long view of this, on advice of his attorney, to file complaints and try to get custody of his daughter using this incident as one piece of ammunition. I don't know how he can do it…I am so upset just KNOWING what happened to that baby.
It's like watching Phrecklette's neglect happen all over again.
