I explained to the caseworker that I'm still feeling burnt out and my goals are slipping away. She emailed me back and said she would try to get a faster hearing date. Reunification can't happen until the court approves it.
Now get this.
The next hearing date wasn't going to be until December 29th!!!!!!
Ok, I hate to say it, but BF WAS RIGHT.
He TOLD me it was going to be another 2-3 months or longer. That it wasn't 'just around the corner'. And guess what! He was right. What's more…he was EXACTLY right. December 29 is just about 4 months to the day that I met that caseworker originally.
I'm so tired of him being right!!!
